Permanent Lights provides a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty covering all system components, including Facia Tracks, Paint, LED strands, controllers, and mounting hardware.


What the Warranty Covers


  • Material and workmanship defects under normal use
  • Component failure, including LED strands and controllers, during standard operation


Important Details


  • The labor warranty is handled by the authorized installer responsible for the system setup.
  • The parts warranty is managed directly by Permanent Lights, guaranteeing replacement of defective parts.
  • The system is designed for durability, with LEDs rated for 40,000–60,000 hours of use, though warranty coverage applies for the specified period only.

Exclusions


  • Issues related to wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) are not covered, and troubleshooting by contractors may incur additional charges.
  • User error or damage from mishandling is not covered under the warranty.


Shipping Details


  • The parts warranty is managed directly by Permanent Lights, ensuring replacement of defective components.
  • The system is designed for durability, with LEDs rated for 36,000-60,000 hours of use (updated from 30,000-50,000 hours), though warranty coverage is limited to the specified period.


  • Packaging and Shipping for Warranty Claims:


  • Authorized dealers must package defective components securely in original or equivalent packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ship to: Permanent Lights HQ, 1234 Luminary Lane, Los Angeles, CA 90001, USA.
  • Include a return authorization number (obtained from Permanent Lights support) and a detailed description of the issue.
  • Shipping costs for warranty claims are covered by Permanent Lights if the claim is approved; otherwise, the dealer is responsible for return shipping costs.
